Welcome to my site – Debt Advice Free. If you have a debt problem you are probably feeling worried, you might not be sure where to turn and you need some support. I know how you feel! 3 years ago I was in a debt crisis situation and I really could not see how the future was going to turn out.
I managed to work through my debt problem and now I am debt free (or very nearly!). This site is designed to be a source of help and advice for all people experiencing debt problems. Post details of your debt problems here and you will get a sympathetic response.
People get into debt for all sorts of reasons: Losing their job. Medical expenses. The reckless actions of their partner. Falling for the lie that you have to have expensive things to be a valuable member of society. Honestly I don’t care how you got into debt! You need to understand it to prevent it happening again, but there is no point just worrying about it and punishing yourself. You need to concentrate on fixing your debt problem in the best way for you and your family.
I won’t push anyone to use a particular debt solution. Each person’s situation is different and requires a personalized solution. I aim to be here to support people and provide information on the different solutions to debt problems – from just sorting out your budget through to bankruptcy.
Take the first step to dealing with your debt problem – admit what it is. Post a response to the My Debt Story thread here.
Checkout all the information on the site via the recent posts/categories/tags. If you have a specific question that is not answered on the site then please email me (neil@debtadvice4free) and I will do my best to answer it.

Join the debate and add your comment to any of my posts/pages. I provide live followed links (what’s this?) to all approved comments. Just do not waste your time posting any rants about people getting into debt – they will not be published!
Wishing you success in solving your debt problem.

Nothing like writing from your own experience. If you haven’t lived it, good luck helping people with it, ya know!
